Kennedy, Jr. Waterkeeper Alliance and their 153 local Waterkeeper programs literally “Defend Every Drop” –- fighting for clean water in the rivers, lakes, bays and coastlines where they live.

Among the local Waterkeeper programs participating is the Fundy Baykeeper, the voice and lead advocate for the Bay of Fundy between Saint John and the New Brunswick-Maine border.  “Participating in this on-line auction is a great opportunity to raise the profile of the Fundy Baykeeper program, while raising money to support our work,” remarked Janice Harvey, director of the Fundy Baykeeper program.

Charity Folks (www.CharityFolks.com) is the marquee destination for high-profile celebrity auctions benefiting nonprofits.  Proceeds from the online auction will benefit Waterkeeper Alliance and Waterkeeper programs.  Waterkeeper Alliance is the guardian of more than 150 local Waterkeepers – citizen advocates who patrol our waterways and enforce environmental standards.  Waterkeeper Alliance supports their member programs, taking their local campaigns to the national and international level and guaranteeing everyone's right to clean water.
